Privacy Policy
We keep Scripture free and your data minimal.
This document is provided in English (the governing version) and Korean. Translations into other languages are coming; where versions differ, the English version applies.
1. Who we are
DailyGod is an open, nonprofit Bible-reading mission. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: [email protected].
2. What we collect
Only what the service needs: (a) if you create an account, your email address (via our authentication provider) to sign you in; (b) your highlights, notes, and reading activity, so your reading is saved to you; (c) if you use the developer API, your API key and daily request counts; (d) aggregate, cookieless usage analytics (page views, country, device type) to understand traffic. We do not collect your name, contacts, precise location, or payment details.
3. What we never do
We do not sell or rent your data. We show no ads. We use no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking, and we build no advertising profiles.
4. Cookies
We use only essential, functional cookies: your sign-in session, your language choice, and your reader preferences. Our analytics are cookieless. Because we set no tracking or advertising cookies, we do not show a cookie-consent banner.
5. Service providers
We rely on a few providers strictly to operate the service: Supabase (account authentication and database), Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, and cookieless analytics), and ElevenLabs (only when you choose to generate audio for a passage). They process data on our behalf under their own security terms; we share no data with anyone for marketing.
6. Your rights & retention
Your account data is kept while your account is active. You may view, correct, or delete your account and its data at any time — email [email protected] and we will act promptly. Deleting your account removes your highlights and notes.
7. Children & international
DailyGod is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The service is operated from the Republic of Korea; if you use it from elsewhere, you consent to the processing described here.
8. Changes & contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be noted here with a new date. Contact: [email protected].
