Daily Agora™ is an open, freely-licensed Bible translation platform built for many language communities — each rendered clean-room from the public-domain Berean Standard Bible, never copied from any copyrighted translation. Korean (the Daily Version) is complete; Japanese, Vietnamese, Mongolian, and Thai are now in pilot, with more languages to follow.

Translation principles (clean-room)

  • Meaning-based, faithful to the public-domain BSB and the original sense.
  • Never reproduce the original wording or structure of copyrighted translations.
  • Narration in the reverent register natural to each language; God's commands and declarations stay authoritative.
  • Record the basis for any non-obvious choice in a footnote.

What “100% translated” means

Every one of the 66 books’ 31,086 verses has a Korean rendering — there are no gaps, placeholders, or untranslated passages. Footnote density is separate from translation coverage and varies by design (see below).

Footnote criteria

  • Translation notes — how the BSB English was rendered into Korean and why, not commentary.
  • Original-language in safe mode — transliteration plus meaning (e.g. tohu wabohu), never reproducing copyrighted text.
  • Cross-references and names-with-meaning recorded where they aid the reading.

Density by design

  • High (~95%): Psalms, Proverbs, and the New Testament — dense, verse-by-verse notes.
  • Moderate: the Prophets and narrative books — every verse with a real translation decision.
  • Sparse by design: genealogies, tribal allotments, and name lists — noted only at the framing level, never padded with filler.

Integrity audit — passed

  • 0 missing or empty translations across all 31,086 verses.
  • 0 chapters without at least one footnote.
  • 0 malformed, garbled, or duplicated footnote entries.
