Terms of Service

DailyGod is a free, openly-licensed, nonprofit Bible-reading mission. By using the website, apps, or API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We provide the service free of charge, on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or discontinue features. We aim to keep Scripture free always.

An account is optional and only needed to save your highlights and notes. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time.

Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to break, overload, or abuse it; do not scrape outside the public API; do not misuse it to harm others. We may suspend access that threatens the service or other users.

The English source is the Berean Standard Bible (public domain, CC0). The Daily Versions (including the Korean Daily Version) are © DailyGod and free to use, copy, and distribute — including commercially — with attribution, e.g. “Korean Daily Version (KDV) — DailyGod”. If you contribute translations, proposals, notes, or comments in Daily Agora, you confirm they are your own work produced clean-room from public-domain sources — never copied from a copyrighted translation — and you grant DailyGod a perpetual, royalty-free license to publish, refine, and distribute them under the project's open license, with revision history retained.

The API is free with a key and a generous daily limit. Keys used in client code are visible to users — treat them as public identifiers, not secrets. We may rate-limit, change, or revoke keys to protect the service. Attribute translations as required above.

The service is provided without warranties of any kind. The Daily Versions are reader's translations for daily devotion, not scholarly critical texts, and nothing here is theological, legal, or professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DailyGod is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. As a free service, our total liability is limited accordingly.

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In case of any discrepancy between language versions, the English version governs. Contact: [email protected].
